Our new directory needs your photo!

We will have photos taken for our new “Called to Care” directory on Sunday April 29 and Sunday May 6. Please plan to stay after the service on one of those days so your photo will be included with your up-to-date information.

Baptism Class

Pastor Brian will be holding a baptism class in April for anyone interested in considering baptism. Attending this class does not commit you to participating, but informs you as to what is involved. If you are interested, please let us know so we can plan a date and time suitable for this class.

Important Congregational Meeting

All members and attenders of Good Shepherd Community Church are urged to attend a special meeting following the morning service on Sunday April 15. This meeting will provide information regarding the budget for the coming year. A light lunch will be served, so please plan to stay and be with us.

Upcoming Convergence

The Prayer Group during Convergence will resume on Sunday April 15 under the leadership of Maureen Oulton and Evelyn Kudjerski. Plan to come and join together in the ministry of prayer at Good Shepherd Community Church.

We will begin a new group on Sunday April 15 based on A Harmony of the Gospels. This is a compilation of the four gospels in chronological order in which we observe Jesus’ life and ministry in a helpful way. A light breakfast will be served at this time, as well.

To purchase a book, you can order it through a local bookstore or find it online at booksellers. Please make sure you have the Harmony of the Gospels edited by Thomas and Gundry and published by Harper Collins in 1988. Pastor Brian will be using the NIV, but if you prefer a different translation, you can see if they have your preference. Please consider participating in this group (or the Lunch and Learn version on Wednesdays) and let Pastor Brian know if you are interested.

“Spring Tune-Up Weekend” at Pioneer Camp

Women of all ages are invited to attend a “Spring Tune-Up Weekend” at Pioneer Camp,
April 20-22. This is a great opportunity to get away, learn and relax and to interact with other women. The weekend, which begins Friday evening and concludes after lunch Sunday, consists of times of worship and praise, theme talks, good food, and various optional recreational activities. Barb Constable will be assisting in this weekend and would love to have friends from Good Shepherd join her. Please see Barb for further information, or email her.

This Sunday at GSCC – RESURRECTION SUNDAY

Join us for breakfast at 9:00 am!

Everyone is invited to join us downstairs in the Fellowship Hall from 9:00 am until 10:00 am for a delicious breakfast. Let’s begin our time together with a meal, then enter into the worship of our Risen Lord.

“The Road from the Resurrection”

He is risen! He is risen indeed!

How has Jesus’ resurrection changed the lives of so many people, from His earliest followers, to millions throughout history, right up to us today? Jesus’ resurrection is the first step in our walk with Him into God’s plans and purposes. This Sunday we come to celebrate our Risen Lord, and to learn how to walk with Him daily in the joy of His resurrection.

There are no Convergence groups meeting this Sunday.

Both the Prayer Convergence and our new Harmony of the Gospels discussion will begin on Sunday April 15.
