Convergence
The word convergence means ‘coming together.’ The goal of Convergence is to facilitate the ‘coming together’ of:
People: For close to 2,000 years Christians, in celebration of the resurrection, have gathered on Sundays to study the Scriptures, to pray and break bread together, and to share in fellowship. Convergence recognizes that the gathering of the community is essential to the life of faith.
Faith and Learning: Drawing upon the gifts and training of members of the congregation, Convergence seeks to provide opportunities for adult education, spiritual formation, and equipping for ministry.
Daily life and Discipleship: Convergence exists to assist in preparing God’s people to live fully integrated lives as disciples of Jesus Christ.
Our next term of Convergence starts in the fall with breakfast at 8:45am. We are currently determining which classes will be running then.
Come and experience learning together in community.
Childcare is provided, if needed.
Please speak to Carol Smith if your family would like childcare during
convergence.
